A friend of mine recently went vegan and was telling me about the magic of black bean brownies… she had some kind of vegan recipe that involves no flour or something. She mentioned that there is also a recipe that involves just brownie mix and black beans—I was intrigued. I’m all about as little effort as possible when it comes to cooking (at least usually).
Google returned with this:
Black Bean Brownies
Ingredients:
1 box any commercial prepared brownie mix
1 15.5-ounce can black beans
Directions:
Open can of beans
Place can's contents, including liquid, in blender. Blend.
Mix thoroughly with brownie mix. (No eggs, oil or other ingredients needed.)
Place in oiled baking pan.
Bake according to package directions. Cool and serve.
Approximately 100 calories per brownie, which are also low-fat and high fiber.
I dare any of you to try this and report back to me as to how it tastes.

Oh my. This recipe makes me nervous. I double dare YOU to try it!
That is fascinating. Fortunately I haven't seen any boxed brownie mixes here, so I am saved!
Aw shoot, I was hoping you'd try it first! Curious, but too skeptical to make the plunge.
Hahaha, so we have a lot of curious people and no one wants to try... I'm intrigued, but blending up black beans sounds yucky.
