Clumsy fool

Jokingly, I told my mother a couple days ago that I thought I broke my foot. Um, yeah. I am starting to think I really did. Whoops!

I could quite possibly be one of the clumsiest people alive, so when I started to have pain in my foot and didn't know what I had done it didn't really surprise me. Earlier that day I had been dancing around and figured I just bumped my foot on something. I had also gone running that morning but nothing out of the ordinary happened. The pain has gotten progressively worse and currently I'm hobbling around like an old woman.

I just looked up the symptoms for stress fractures (common in long distance runners, apparently) and was less than pleased to see that the symptoms match my own. Ideally, I can avoid a doctor bill by resting it but we'll see. If it isn't feeling better in a few days it is off to the doctor for me...

This is frustrating on one hand because I'm really bad at the whole "staying off my feet" thing, and for another, it's lovely running weather outside! I haven't been able to go for a couple days cause the snow was so bad and now I appear to have cracked a bone in my foot. Still, it's kind of hilarious at the same time. We'll see...

Good grief, Leslie, I hope your foot gets better on its own soon! Nobody needs a doctor bill right after Christmas!

Oh dear! Try to sit still and have Suzy cart you food back and forth from the kitchen.
