Fall is my favorite.

Last night I took the dog for a walk in the rain, and after that went for a run just as the rain was stopping. My route took me on a 4-mile jaunt, through my town and up a huge-ass hill and then back down and back through the town. Just as I hit the top of the huge-ass hill the sun started to come down in bursts of happiness, and I could see the rain droplets sparkling on the streets and fields and my sweet, tiny town in the distance looking very cheerful as I felt much faster than I am because I was running downhill. It was pleasant.

It also made me much less cranky. And so I felt like blogging something about it cause I didn't want my most recent entry to be a cranky one.

I got yelled at by an angry man at work today. He had no reason to yell at me, I was being very nice and helpful. I'm guessing today he is as cranky as I was yesterday.

This weekend: fall festival (woo!) and an adventure to find out if I should be wearing size 10 pants. More to follow on that front...

I forgot to tell you that I really like this post. Your descriptions of happy dog-walking and running up a hill and seeing your rain-soaked town are perfect and lovely.

Fall is my favorite, too.
